Introducing: Tanya of Something Happy

Tanya Something Happy party planner Toronto Periwinkle Flowers

Introducing: is a  series that will introduce you to my many friends in the event industry and beyond, who's work and attitude I love. The coming event season is going to be a very difficult one for all, with the COVID-19 crisis keeping many businesses and venues closed and seeing events being canceled or postponed to 2021. In an already difficult industry, it's crucial we help support our creative talent to make sure we are all still here when things get back to as close to normal as they can be.

Introducing: Tanya, chief Joy creator at Something Happy

I met Tanya last spring when she asked about getting some flowers for a creative shoot she was planning, to launch her new party business. Intrigued with her ideas I asked if instead of purchasing them, we could collaborate on the project and she agreed.  My team and I then spent a truly awesome day working onsite with Tanya, surrounded by balloons and paper decorations and lifesize creature statues...it.was.AMAZING! You can read about some of the themes we created that day  here
