A March wedding at the Gladstone Hotel

These gorgeous images arrived in our inbox recently and immediately brought tears to our eyes. The lovely couple, Meg & Marshall, are just the nicest people ever and the entire day was swimming in emotion as they married. The late March day was blustery to begin with and then turned to snow, but that didn't deter them. The Gladstone Hotel was a perfect downtown Toronto venue, filled with character and fun just like Meg & Marshall. By special request of the couple we made the wedding flowers with entirely local product ( the only import was the greenery which isn't available locally at that time of year) and the rich plums, soft dusty pinks + deep burgundy were perfect together in a mix of ranunculus, cymbidium orchids (yes, local orchids!) and accents such as skimmia. Take a look at these gorgeous images the photographer Frances Morency very kindly shared with us.
