Creative Inspiration: a vintage styled shoot

I was part of my first styled shoot this spring, which was exciting enough in itself but made even more so by the wonderful lady that was organizing it, the lovely Lorrie, who is Creative Director for Creative Bag.  After a few quick emails outlining the project, Lorrie came by the shop and we were instant friends. Lorrie is such an inspiring creative soul, and she gathered together a group of vendors from the Spring ReBash Wedding market (that I was so happy to be a part of again this year), and organized a dreamy vintage styled dinner shoot that knocked my socks off.

These gorgeous water coloured invitations by the talented Alicia's Infinity were the jumping off point for everything we did, giving us the soft muted colour scheme that included the hints of gold with soft pinks, peaches, grey-greens and antique white.

See what I mean? Just the most dreamy collection of all my favourite things in one place. The china and place settings are from The Perfect Table, a fab company that you can rent vintage and unique pieces for your event from, So brilliant. The gorgeous calligraphy details through the shoot are by Love Lettering.

The cake! The most perfect gorgeous cake was made by Cakelaine and is so exquisite.

And the enormous paper flower backdrop? Amaze-balls.  You can rent it for your event! It's made by Confetti and Bows.

These gorgeous images were taken by the lovely Kat Williams (Attakat) who I then had the pleasure of meeting at the ReBash market and she is every bit as sweet as her work.
